Grandfather Luciano, a fundamental figure

Born in 1999, Alessia spent long days with grandmother Mariuccia and grandfather Luciano. A presence of theirs that even now shines through in all its expressiveness. Grandfather Luciano was a fundamental figure, who also guided her in professional choices.

To talk about grandfather Luciano, to tell of his relationship with Alessia, is a plunge into the past, but also a stimulus for the present. Alessia is sure of her feelings, her states of mind, the goals she intends to reach. But in her spirit there remain fragments of uncertainty, of hope, of perspective. "Since I was little, grandfather Luciano has been a fundamental figure in my life, like a second father. Before being Luciano Sandrone, the great Barolo producer, for me he was my grandfather and, like all granddaughters, I enjoyed being pampered and did not let a single moment of it fall to the ground. Even though the period we walked together was brief, he was essential in my life and in my initial choices. Essential for his wisdom and his stability. For this reason he was a point of reference. I was and remain fascinated by his firmness in his choices, I envied and still envy his certainty in decisions. Therefore I would like to have inherited some of this firmness of his because I know that in life it would help me greatly".
